Nassar Ali, Director of Financial Advisory Services for Lincoln Financial Advisors, is experienced in tailored investment strategies, with prior experience as a portfolio manager responsible for managing customized investment portfolios totaling close to $400 million. As head of the investment planning arena at LFA, he oversees the delivery of investment planning services and investment technology and assists the Chief Investment Officer with capital market research and portfolio design. He is a member of LFA’s Investment Policy Committee and Steering List Committee.
Prior to his employment by LFA, Nasser worked for Legg Mason as a Portfolio Manager responsible for managing customized investment portfolios. He also held various investment positions with Calvert Funds and The Advisors Group.
Nasser graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Maryland. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000 and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2004. He also earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor®, Accredited Asset Management Specialist, and Chartered Mutual Fund Consultant designations. A member of the Association of Investment Management and Research and the Baltimore Security Analysts Society, Nasser published an article in the Encyclopedia of World Terrorism entitled "The Impact of 9/11 on the Global Economy."
Nasser is regularly interviewed by industry magazines and on radio programs. Nasser, his wife, and their two children reside in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
